*** Please note that this is a contract-based role. The assignment duration is 8 months.

The consultant will serve as the onsite CO lead for the Romanian entity, ensuring correct cost allocation, profitability analysis, and compliance with Romanian reporting requirements, in coordination with offshore delivery teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

SAP Master Data for various CO functions:

1. Material Master
2. Cost elements
3. Cost center
4. Statistical key figures
5. Activity type
6. Ensure product costing structure complies with Romanian accounting law (Order 2844/2016).
7. Support reconciliation between FI and CO for ANAF compliance reporting.
8. Participate in defining local reporting hierarchies (cost center, segment, and profit center level).
9. Support SAF-T data alignment for cost center reporting and internal orders.

Demand to Supply Processes for various CO functions

1. Cost center accounting
2. Profit center accounting
3. Product cost controlling
4. Internal order processing
5. Month end closing process
6. Material ledger

To carry out essential activities

1. Implement the project with S/4 HANA latest version.
2. Perform Changes & transports with functional design/system configuration
3. To identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
4. Alignment with FI for VAT and WHT postings, and with SD for revenue recognition and profitability analysis.
5. Act as the on-site interface between local business users and offshore functional and ABAP teams for issue resolution and configuration alignment.
6. Ensure CO data structures (cost elements, activity types) are correctly integrated into DRC/SAF-T data extraction processes.
7. Training the end users and preparing end user training material
8. Conduct Unit Testing & Integration testing & UAT
9. Prepare functional specifications for ABAP developments
10. Take lead in master data upload and cut over activities
11. Post go live support

Degree as cost accountant or in similar field or B.COM/M COM/C.A. preferred.

Professional experience & Skills

1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience.
2. Designing and configuring CO module processes.
3. Knowledge of PP related process will be added advantage
4. Knowledge of the key integration points between the other SAP modules (e.g. FI, PP).
5. 2 or 3 SAP CO project Implementations & 1-2 support project experience
6. Must have verbal and written proficiency in English and Romanian language.
