*** Please note that this is a contract-based role. The assignment duration is 8 months.

The consultant will serve as the on-site PP functional lead for our customer's SAP S/4HANA rollout, ensuring alignment between local manufacturing operations, finance, and logistics, and coordinating with offshore technical and functional teams.

Manufacturing industry business process knowledge. Scenarios like Demand to Supply must be known in detail starting from material planning to manufacturing.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure production data structures (BOM, routings, cost centers) are properly reflected in SAF-T reporting and DRC data extractions. Work closely with FI/CO to validate cost accounting, work center rates, and cost component structure for Romanian statutory compliance.

Support serial/batch management and traceability in line with Romanian ANAF inspection requirements.

Act as local counterpart for the plant manufacturing and costing teams, coordinating with offshore SAP experts for configuration and development.

Ensure that data from production postings, consumption, and inventory movements are compliant with reporting formats required by ANAF.

SAP Master Data for various PP functions:

1. Material Master
2. Work centers
3. Bill of material
4. Routings
5. Production versions
6. Define order types, settlement profiles, and costing variants compatible with Romanian accounting standards (Order 2844/2016).
7. Support integration with quality and traceability requirements (batch management, e-Transport linkage for finished goods dispatches).

Demand to Supply Processes for various PP functions:

1. Demand planning
2. MRP
3. Production order execution
4. Production order confirmation
5. Goods Receipt & Issues against production orders
6. Production order closures
7. Various production related reporting

To carry out essential activities:

1. Implement the project with S/4 HANA latest version.
2. Perform Changes & transports with functional design/system configuration
3. To identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
4. Training the end users and preparing end user training material
5. Conduct Unit Testing & Integration testing & UAT
6. Prepare functional specifications for ABAP developments
7. Take lead in master data upload and cut over activities
8. Post go live support

Degree (B. E. / B. Tech/M.E. /MTech) in Mechanical/Electrical/Comp science/E & TC. MBA with operations will be preferred.

Professional experience & Skills

1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience.
2. Designing and configuring PP module processes.
3. Implementation of QM process will be added advantage
4. Knowledge of the key integration points between the other SAP modules (FI,CO, SD, MM and QM/PM experience is an asset).
5. Experience in Romanian SAP rollout projects, with understanding of SAF-T, DRC, and ANAF compliance.
6. Knowledge and working experience of integration with non-SAP systems
7. 2 or 3 SAP PP project Implementations & 1-2 support project experience
8. Must have verbal and written proficiency in English and Romanian language.
