*** Please note that this is a contract-based role. The assignment duration is 8 months.

SAP SD Functional Consultant will act as the on-site SD functional lead for our customer's SAP S/4HANA rollout, ensuring compliance with Romanian tax localization (e-Factura, SAF-T, VIES) and coordinating with the offshore configuration and ABAP teams.

Responsible for following skills & activities.

• Should have worked as SAP SD consultant in 2-3 implementation, roll out projects & 1-2 support projects
• Participate in requirement gathering workshops and presentations to validate business design with the end user community.
• Design of Functional Specs for reports, forms, interfaces, enhancements and conversions.
• Execution of the system unit testing, user acceptance testing and integration testing. This includes performing the test, making changes in configuration based on results, and error resolution.
• Preparation of the end user training materials
• Providing training to the key users/ end user trainings.
• Design Authorization profiles and understand and resolve authorization related issues
• Carry out cut over activities
• Provide post-implementation production support.
• System: SAP S/4 HANA, Preferred version 2020 and above
• Work closely with FI consultant to align invoice posting, VAT determination, and tax reporting for Romanian ANAF requirements.
• Act as bridge between local business users and offshore SAP configuration / ABAP development teams.
• Lead end-to-end testing and trainings including e-Factura and VIES XML validation.

Following are requirements for tax localization.

• Romanian localization experience: Prior experience with Romanian legal requirements and business practices is essential. Candidates should be familiar with the configuration for country-specific reports and electronic document requirements.
• Serve as onsite SD functional lead coordinating daily with offshore team for configuration, transport movement, and issue resolution.
• Work directly with Romanian sales administration, warehouse, and finance stakeholders.
• Legal and tax knowledge: Strong understanding of Romanian legal regulations concerning billing, VAT reporting, and e-invoicing. Knowledge of ANAF e-Factura and e-Transport formats (UBL 2.1 XML)
• e-Factura: Implement and configure the electronic invoicing system for Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Government (B2G) scenarios, which is mandatory in Romania.
• SAF-T (Standard Audit File for Tax): Ensure that sales and distribution data can be extracted and reported correctly in the SAF-T XML format for submission to the Romanian tax authorities (ANAF).
• VIES (VAT Information Exchange System) Reporting: Configure the system to handle cross-border transactions and report them accurately according to VIES requirements.
• Country-specific reports: Implement and generate other specific Romanian tax and business documents, such as tax declarations (e.g., D394) and financial statements.
• Fiscal numbering: Ensure that document numbering, particularly for invoices, is sequential and compliant with local legal requirements.
• Output management: Configure and customize output forms (invoices, delivery notes) to display information in the Romanian language and adhere to local business practices.
• Regional codes: Use the correct codes for Romanian regions (counties) as required for reporting and master data.

Degree (B. E. / B. Tech) Comp Science/Mechanical / Electrical etc. MBA with sales and marketing will be preferred.
