Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Logistics Consultant to support a Romania-based client in designing, configuring, and implementing SAP S/4HANA logistics processes. The role involves working on greenfield and rollout projects with a strong focus on MM, SD, and PP modules, along with delivering end-user training in the English/Romanian language.

Key Responsibilities

SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Configuration

• Design, configure, and implement SAP S/4HANA logistics solutions with a focus on:
• Materials Management (MM)
• Sales & Distribution (SD)
• Production Planning (PP)
• Participate in greenfield and rollout projects, including system configuration, data migration support, and integration testing.
• Support end-to-end implementation activities across the project lifecycle.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with FICO, SD, MM, PP, and technical teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand logistics and reporting requirements.
• Support integration points between logistics and finance, including taxation and compliance-related processes.
• Cross modular process & transaction knowledge is required.

Testing & Training

• Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Support Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Conduct end-user and key-user training sessions in Romanian, including documentation and knowledge transfer.

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide post-go-live support and handle incidents, enhancements, and service requests.
• Monitor regulatory and business process changes and recommend system updates accordingly.
• Use ticketing tools to track, analyze, and resolve issues efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience

Functional & Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Logistics modules (MM, SD, PP).
• Strong configuration experience in SAP MM, SD, and PP.
• Experience managing end-to-end SAP implementations (greenfield, brownfield, or migration).
• Familiarity with ticketing/support tools such as Remedy or ServiceNow.

Project Experience

• At least one SAP implementation project experience (including logistics scope).
• 1–2 support project experiences in SAP environments.
• Prior exposure to SAP S/4HANA rollouts is mandatory.

Language & Communication

• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Romanian language proficiency is mandatory (for training and user interaction).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of SAP consulting experience, primarily in MM, SD, and PP modules.
