We have an exciting opportunity for a MSc graduate looking to advance their career in synthetic chemistry, to join our Scaleup Lab in Bratislava, Slovakia. The successful candidate will join our Scaleup Lab team to execute lab work using provided synthetic routes and solve practical problems through the application of chemical synthesis, design, testing and development.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Scaleup of synthetic processes, examination of synthetic protocols
• Sampling and monitoring of ongoing reactions
• Record experimental detail and analytical data accurately
• Perform all laboratory work safely, following internal rules and procedures
• Maintenance and housekeeping of equipment and laboratory

Candidate Requirements

• MSc Graduate or higher in organic chemistry or technology experience within carbohydrate, nucleoside, pharma or related production is an advantage
• Familiarity with organic synthesis techniques
• Strong mechanistic understanding
• Technical thinking
• Self-motivated, well organized and pro-active learner
• Able to work within a team
• Good communications skills
