Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant, based in Fărcaşa, Maramureş.

This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations, and delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting.

The Senior Accountant will lead the preparation of financial statements and management reports, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and maintain the integrity of the general ledger. Key responsibilities also include performing account reconciliations, supporting internal and external audits, and identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and financial performance.

In close collaboration with cross-functional teams, this role contributes to enhanced financial visibility, strong internal controls, and informed business decision-making.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
• Experience with using accounting software and ERP systems
• Advanced skills in spreadsheet management and data analysis
• Demonstrated ability in problem-solving, attention to detail, and organization
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant or equivalent qualification is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in logistics or a related industry is a plus
