The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinates month close activities
2. Reviews sales and purchases journal ledgers, computes VAT, profit tax, various taxes to be paid (withholding tax), etc.
3. Prepares fiscal declarations (D100, D112, D300, D390, D394, D406, etc) and ensures liaison with fiscal authorities
4. Analysis the fiscal implications of the current operations
5. Prepares confirmations of customers and suppliers balances and transactions
6. Booking various transactions like for example: bank statements, suppliers invoices, reevaluation of balances in foreign currency, provisions for overdue customers, stock provisions, advances payments/ collections, etc.
7. Reviews and ensures accuracy for inventory accounts through monthly reconciliations and for payment instruments accounts.
8. Participates in annual stock count and ensures the reconciliation between the physical count and accounting data.
9. Prepares and sends to BUs managers various reports, actual versus budget reports, ad-hoc analysis reports, offering them support to better understand the variations;
10. Offers support to BU management in budget preparation process and analysis the correctness of costs allocation;
11. Collaborates with cross departamental teams to understand the business requirements and the impact on financial results;
12. Participates in cross departamental projects aiming to enhance / improve / automate internal processes;
13. Participates in the ERP implementation/ automation processes.
14. Provides the information requested by internal or external auditors, various authorities or management.

Qualifications

1. At least 3 years experience in controlling, accounting or auditing;
2. A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field;
3. Solid knowledge of local or IFRS accounting standards and Fiscal Code provisions;
4. Excellent knowledge of Excel tools;
5. A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
6. Time management skills, ability to prioritize issues and ensure reporting in due time;
7. Attention to detail and diligence in ensuring accuracy in all tasks;
8. Oriented to improve processes and to enhance/ develop existing reports;
9. A strong command of written and spoken English;
10. Good communication skills.
