Process Engineer – CNC Milling Specialist

We are a company in the automotive industry, committed to operational excellence and technological innovation. To support the continuous development of our projects, we are looking for a dedicated Process Engineer with experience in CNC milling processes to join our team of specialists.

Your Role in the Team

As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, optimizing, and standardizing production processes throughout both development and series production phases. You will work closely with the Production, Project, Quality, and Logistics departments, contributing directly to the efficiency, quality, and safety of our processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC milling technological processes during concept and industrialization phases.
• Prepare and update technical documentation:( Data sheets, Control plans, Work instructions).
• Prepare and validate technical specifications for materials, components, and equipment.
• Define and improve process flows, machine layouts, and tooling layouts, according to LeanManufacturing principles.
• Responsible for FMEA analyses and optimization of machine settings.
• Train and coach production personnel in CNC-related processes, methods, and techniques.
• Monitor process capability and analyze machine performance.
• Actively participate in production problem-solving (using the 8D methodology) and equipment maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with teams from other locations for process standardization and knowledge transfer.
• Implement and comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Technical university degree (preferably Mechanical Engineering or related fields).
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years in a similar role
• Minimum 3 years in technological processes, including at least 2 years in the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of:
• CNC milling processes
• Tooling, fixtures, and associated technologies
• Experience in process optimization and standardization, Lean system management.
• Ability to work with strict process standards.
• English language – intermediate/advanced level.
• Strong technical thinking, customer-oriented mindset, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.

Additional technical skills:

• CNC programming (SINUMERIK, NUM)
• CATIA V5 modeling (Sketcher, Part Design, Assembly Design, Prismatic Machining)
