POSITION: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - PLOIEȘTI, ROMANIA

📌 1. YOUR ROLE

• You will be assigned as Project Lead/Resident on a new production line in Romania, dedicated to the supply of gas meters for an important Italian client in the automotive / energy sector.
• You will follow the entire industrialization phase firsthand, from the first investment approval gate through to production start-up expected in early 2027.
• You will ensure compliance with the required quality and traceability standards, equivalent to automotive-level requirements (PPAP level 4, audits, process data management).
• You will interface constantly with the Italian team and with Romanian colleagues on-site, coordinating line validation and production activities.
• You will be the continuous point of reference on the project, with fixed, dedicated presence for the entire duration of the assignment.

🛠️ 2. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the production line validation process according to the client's required standards.
• Oversee full process traceability and related quality documentation (PPAP, audits, data reporting).
• Monitor production to minimize scrap and prevent line stoppages/failures.
• Coordinate activities with local teams in Romania and with the reference structure in Italy.
• Support investment approval phases (gate reviews) and production launch.
• Ensure operational continuity and constant oversight of the project over the long term.

✅ 3. REQUIREMENTS

• Solid, senior-level experience in quality, traceability and production line validation, preferably in automotive or high-standard manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of automotive-level quality methodologies and standards (PPAP, process audits, data management).
• Availability to be resident in Romania (Ploiești) with continuous presence of approximately 3 weeks per month.
• Operational autonomy: an already-trained profile is required, not junior, able to independently manage a complex project.
• Availability for a long-term commitment (estimated 2.5–3 years, with possible extension on further contracts).
• Good knowledge of English required; knowledge of Romanian is a plus.

🎁 4. WHAT WE OFFER

• The compensation for this role ranges between €50.000 and €70.000. The position is classified under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Trade and Services sector applied by our company. Placement within the salary range will be determined based on technical skills, specific experience in the role, and the outcomes of the selection process, according to objective and neutral criteria. In the case of candidates with exceptional qualifications beyond the indicated range, a revision may be considered subject to internal approval.
