Codec is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Contract) to manage the successful delivery of multiple client projects in parallel. This role requires strong ownership, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver complex business application projects to agreed scope, budget, and schedule within a consulting environment.

This role will require 3-4 days per month onsite in Liverpool every month.

The successful contractor will act as the single point of accountability across assigned projects, working closely with customers, internal delivery teams, and the PMO to ensure high-quality outcomes. The role requires experience delivering projects using agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.

Job Duties

• :Manage multiple projects or project workstreams concurrently
• .Own end-to-end project delivery from pre-sales through to operational support
• .Act as the primary point of contact and accountability for assigned projects
• .Maintain accurate project data, planning, forecasting, and reporting within Codec’s PM tool (Projector)
• .Deliver projects to agreed scope, budget, and schedule, applying formal change management where required
• .Identify, manage, and resolve inter-dependencies across projects
• .Develop, update, and maintain detailed project plans and schedules
• .Proactively manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and implement mitigating actions
• .Report project status and progress in line with PMO governance and organisational standards
• .Produce accurate project cost estimates and support financial tracking
• .Achieve defined PMO quality gates and governance checkpoints
• .Manage project milestones, deliverables, and resources effectively
• .Lead and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams
