Position Overview

The Senior Specialist, Customer Training is an individual contributor responsible for designing and delivering high‑quality technical training for customers and internal stakeholders. This role partners closely with engineering, technical support, and cross‑functional teams to develop effective learning content that reflects current product capabilities. The ideal candidate works independently, exercises sound judgment, and brings strong experience with modern digital learning tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver technical training programs for customers and/or employees across multiple products
• Create engaging learning content using Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Camtasia
• Develop course specifications by collaborating with customers and internal functional teams
• Prepare lesson plans based on engineering documentation, software documentation, and field service requirements
• Ensure training materials reflect current product features by partnering with engineering, technical support, and manufacturing teams
• Facilitate virtual instructor‑led sessions, including lectures and hands‑on lab components
• Evaluate training effectiveness and follow up to confirm applicability of course material
• Apply professional judgment and technical expertise while working independently with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise
• Minimum 2 years of experience using Camtasia for training content development
• 2+ years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or customer education
• Strong understanding of training development processes and learning methodologies
• Ability to analyze technical information and translate it into clear, effective learning content
• High attention to detail and strong evaluative judgment
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Experience developing training for complex or technical products
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
