Job Description

As Service Equipment Technician, NOV Downhole your primary job role is to service, upgrade, maintain and calibrate internal and customer owned equipment such as, but not limited to, break out machines, mini tongs, bucking units, motor testers and Jar Testers to the highest level of service quality in accordance with all NOV Service instructions and procedures. The job role requires a high level of customer interaction when working in local and overseas locations, which requires good communication skills and broad job knowledge.
Please note that you will need to be able to communicate in English for this role.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Service and calibration of NOV service equipment.
• Experience in hydraulics/ mechanical.
• On-site troubleshooting.
• Understanding of electrical systems.
• To assist the Service Manager with technical support to the NOV Torquemaster product line.
• Support customers via phone to perform troubleshooting of the equipment.
• Review and ensure accurate preparation of appropriate documentation for the service department.
• Valid driving license.
• Willing to travel within CIS and Europe and beyond.
  

You Will Have Experience In

• Ability to communicate in English
• Working knowledge of Mechanical & Hydraulic engineering
• Electrical systems
• Reading engineering drawings
• Computer literacy, including good knowledge of MS Office
• Operating a forkift, overhead crane and TM unit (will be an asset)
• Working knowledge of gas safety and abrasive wheels
• Knowledge of Romanian - desirable
