- Oversee the plant's financial accounting activities in compliance with local regulations and group accounting policies.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of annual financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and supporting disclosures.
- Maintain and manage the company's Fiscal Register, ensuring compliance with accounting and VAT requirements.
- Prepare and submit all tax declarations, including:
- VAT returns
- State budget obligations declarations
- Local tax reports
- Other statutory reports and filings
- Manage and ensure the accuracy of fixed asset accounting, capitalization, depreciation, and asset controls.
- Support and coordinate interactions with tax authorities during audits, inspections, and fiscal reviews.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and company procedures.
- Support statutory and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with Plant Finance, Operations, and Shared Service teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Snr Chief Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing all statutory accounting and financial reporting activities of the plant, ensuring compliance with local legislation, tax regulations, and corporate accounting policies. Reporting directly to the Plant Financial Manager, this role ensures the accuracy of financial records, statutory accounts, tax reporting, and fixed asset accounting while acting as the key liaison with fiscal authorities and auditors.
