About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Strategist who lives and breathes content, someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling, engage, and ultimately convert.

Reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager, this person will own Bushbalm’s organic social presence across Instagram and TikTok, from shaping content direction to creating, posting, and optimizing content daily.

This is a newly created, hands-on, end-to-end role. You’ll be responsible for bringing our content pillars to life, executing campaigns and launches, and continuously improving performance through testing and insights.

If you’re equal parts creative and analytical, and excited to both think strategically and create content yourself, this role is for you.

The starting salary range for this position is $55,000 – $65,000 CAD.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Brand Marketing Manager to develop and execute Bushbalm’s organic social strategy
• Bring content pillars to life through high-quality, platform-native content that aligns with brand positioning and business goals
• Conceptualize, shoot, edit, and publish high-performing content across Instagram and TikTok (Reels, TikTok, Stories, static)
• Write captions and content that reflect Bushbalm’s voice: confident, playful, and skincare-smart
• Build and manage content calendars aligned with campaigns, launches, and sales priorities
• Own weekly and monthly performance reporting, tracking KPIs such as engagement, reach, saves, shares, and follower growth
• Analyze performance and translate insights into clear improvements in content and strategy
• Stay on top of trends, identifying and executing relevant opportunities quickly
• Manage daily community engagement including comments, DMs, and user-generated content
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Influencer, Creative, and Paid teams to ensure alignment

Who You Are

• 2–4+ years in social media (beauty/DTC preferred)
• Proven experience creating high-performing organic social content
• Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram platforms and trends
• Creative storyteller with strong instincts for hooks and formats
• Analytical and data-driven mindset
• Comfortable being on camera and producing content independently
• Highly organized and execution-focused
