Jungheinrich – a globally leading provider of intralogistics solutions – has started a new technical project in Ploiesti, under the newly created Engineering Services Center.
To this purpose, we are working now to create a new team of initiative-taking, enthusiastic and innovative
Software Development Engineers, working together with a Tech-lead,
both roles being critical in leveraging technology to optimize industrial processes and to drive operational excellence.
Our new colleagues will work in close collaboration with the German Electrical Engineering Team.

Main Tasks
These roles focus on developing and maintaining software solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Jungheinrich equipment. Here are some of the key abilities we associate with each role:
Developer (two Positions) - Key Abilities

• Extensive expertise in embedded Linux development across the full V-model lifecycle, from requirements engineering to system validation.
• Strong background in designing and implementing complex subsystems in C and C++, supported by over 5 years of professional experience.
• Deep understanding of system architecture and requirements, with the ability to analyze, interpret, and extend architectural concepts to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
• Experienced in applying agile methodologies to deliver complex development projects effectively.
• Work closely with other Engineering teams based in Germany or in Romania, to ensure alignment and coordination in daily development activities.
  

Tech-Lead (one Position) - Key Abilities

• Extensive expertise in system and architecture design, as well as requirements engineering for complex embedded systems, supported by a minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience in technical leadership, mentoring development teams, and representing the technical vision and priorities of high-impact projects.
• Deep knowledge of embedded Linux development across the full V-model lifecycle, from requirements definition to validation,, combined with hands-on experience in designing and implementing subsystems in C and C++.
• Background in applying agile methodologies to drive efficiency, adaptability, and continuous improvement within cross-functional teams.
• Provide ongoing support for existing software applications, including troubleshooting, bug fixing, and implementing updates or feature enhancements.
• Ensure all software solutions adhere to relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements, with a strong emphasis on safety and environmental compliance.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to propose and implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
  

Other Qualifications

• Graduated technical studies in Electric Engineering, Information Technology, Automations, Robotics, Electronics or a related field.
• Previous experience in Automotive Industry would be a plus.
• Conversational level of English.
