As a Solutions Architect (also referred to as Software Architect), you will be the key technical leader responsible for designing the overall software architecture for projects, ensuring the delivered solution is effective, scalable, and meets all business requirements. Your role is critical in the planning and pre-development phases, setting the technical foundation and standards for the entire project lifecycle. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, acting as a consultant to both the client and the development team.
Requirements & Expertise
Architectural Design & Planning:

• Develop high-quality software architecture designs and select the optimal high-level system components.
• Choose the appropriate technology stack and decide on applicable coding standards and development workflows.
• Conduct Functional and Technical Analysis of existing live systems ("as-is" state) to suggest improvements or design features for organic or latest integration.
• Lead the planning of development lifecycles, outlining phases and mapping out high-level development tasks for the Tech Lead to break down.
• Perform Risk Analysis (implementation, operation, development) and Cost Analysis for implementation ideas and off-the-shelf solutions
  

Requirements & Analysis

• Work closely with the Business Analyst to perform Requirement Gathering and Analysis, reviewing business requirements from a technical standpoint, identifying gaps, and following up directly with the BA or client.
• Analyze business requirements to determine the optimal high-level technical solutions.
  

Development Setup & Quality Assurance

• Specify the requirements for development/test environments to the DevOps/TechOps support team.
• Set up and advise on the project’s coding framework, IDE, and CI/CD pipeline.
• Ensure new software components and integration solutions are designed for easy testability for the QA team.
• Conduct Architect Reviews as part of the company-wide quality assurance process and recommend improvements to unify development standards and processes across the organization.
  

Communication & Consulting

• Serve as a Great Communicator and technical consultant to stakeholders, including the Client, Project Manager, Tech Lead, Business Analyst, and QA.
• Effectively convince the client about the validity and advantages of proposed architecture designs.
• Provide Effort Estimation for all roles, supporting both pre-sales and ongoing T&M projects.:
  

Required Qualifications & Experience

• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience working on at least 4 different software projects.
• Proven experience making decisions concerning software architecture, either as a substitute for the main architect or by taking over tasks on a project after gaining deep familiarity. In either case, must have been the most experienced team member.
• Advanced Software Architecture Knowledge to analyze current systems and design new solutions for greenfield projects.
• Proficiency with a server-side development platform (e.g., .NET C# or Java) and/or web frontend development (React or Angular or Vue, and HTML/JavaScript/CSS). Proficiency in both is preferred, with one as a main area of expertise.
• Experience with Systems Integration, capable of creating implementation plans for connecting different existing systems.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Engineering, able to suggest fully cloud-based solutions (infrastructure and/or functionality).
• Proficiency in creating and understanding architecture diagrams (C4 and/or UML) for technical documentation.
• Familiarity with DevOps/TechOps best practices for planning effective development workflows, tooling, and operational aspects.
