What You'll Be Doing
- Providing operational support for reorganization activities within Windows File Services and NAS environments, ensuring stable, compliant, and timely service delivery.
- Executing approved reorganization tasks, including file share restructuring and rights adjustments, in accordance with defined runbooks and approved procedures.
- Processing eDiscovery requests by locating, extracting, and delivering data in compliance with legal, security, and governance requirements.
- Maintaining audit-ready documentation for all activities, including execution evidence, approvals, request details, and post-change validation records.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders in German and English to clarify requests, provide status updates, and ensure alignment throughout the request lifecycle.
- Coordinating with technical teams, including Storage and Application teams, for the execution of complex changes and escalations.
- Identifying process improvement opportunities and escalating them to the Continuous Service Improvement team for review and implementation.
- Ensuring adherence to ITIL processes for Incident, Request, and Change Management.
- Validating changes after implementation and escalating issues as needed to ensure service continuity and compliance.
- Supporting rights administration activities and delegated access management within Windows File Services environments.
- Working with Active Directory, NAS concepts, and CIFS/SMB-based file service integrations as part of operational support activities.
- Ensuring all activities comply with security, governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Maintaining and improving runbooks, operational documentation, and structured workflows to support consistent and efficient service operations.
- Collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure effective coordination, escalation, and delivery under SLA-driven timelines.
What You'll Bring Along
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3- 5 years of hands-on experience with file share management, rights administration, and operational support in enterprise IT environments.
- Experience supporting reorganization activities, including file share restructuring, permissions updates, and delegated rights adjustments.
- Experience handling legal and eDiscovery requests in enterprise environments, including data location, extraction, delivery, and documentation.
- Strong understanding of Windows File Services structures, delegated rights, and access management principles.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and NAS concepts in enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Basic knowledge of CIFS/SMB protocols and file service integrations.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Request, and Change Management.
- Experience working with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow for request handling, ticket updates, and operational coordination.
- Understanding of compliance and audit requirements, with the ability to maintain accurate, traceable, and audit-ready documentation.
- Proven ability to maintain evidence of execution, approvals, post-change validation, and structured workflows.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under SLA-driven timelines.
- Strong ability to follow structured processes, runbooks, and escalation procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- ITIL v4 Foundation certification is mandatory.
- Knowledge of compliance and audit processes is preferred.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German.
