Duties
The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory Policy Analyst, GS-0301-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identify, design, and/or implement Agency-wide programs.
  • Provide advice to senior leadership on policy matters, political impacts, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop communication strategies to disseminate policy updates and/or changes across the organization.
  • Perform the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised.
  • Analyze new or proposed legislation or regulations to determine impact on Executive Secretariat program operations and/or management.

  • You must be a United States Citizen or National.
  • You will be required to complete a pre-employment security investigation and background check which includes a drug screening.
  • You may be required to complete a probationary or trial period.
  • Selective Service registration is required for males born on, or after, December 31st, 1959. Those not registered should have an approved exemption on file.
  • You must meet all eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement and continue to meet these requirements throughout the hiring process. Offers can be rescinded if requirements are not met.
  • You may be required to complete a one-year supervisory probationary period.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Supervisory Policy Analyst (Assistant Director), at GS-0301-14 you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or equivalent band in the Federal service, which includes: Analyzing new or proposed legislation and/or changes in regulations; Conducting studies of organizational efficiency and/or productivity and recommending improvements in organization, staffing, work methods, and/or procedures; and Developing strategies to resolve issues that impact the agency program goals or objectives.
You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including time-in-grade, by 04/27/2026 of this announcement.
