To better implement our development strategy, we are looking for an Supplier Quality Manager - SQM for our Swoboda Service Center at the Cisnadie location.

As an Supplier Quality Manager, you are responsible for

• Ensuring the defined incoming quality of purchased components, especially electronics such as PCBA’s (SMD and THT assembly)
• Implementing sustainable supplier development
• Negotiation and conclusion of Quality Management Agreements (QMA)

Your responsibilities:

Active supplier management for the following topics:

• Issues/ complaint with purchased parts
• Negotiation and conclusion of Quality Management Agreements (QMA)
• Supplier development
• QM-System development
• Continuous improvement (CIP)
• Internal and external audits acc. VDA 6.3 partially system audits

Acting as the direct interface to the suppliers to:

• Product Issues / Complaints
• Quality Management Agreements
• Supplier Development
• System Development
• Continuous Improvement
• Internal and external audits acc. VDA 6.3

Additional tasks:

• Evaluation and approval of supplier (PPAP, PPF, initial sample inspection reports, .. )
• Production releases
• Maintaining management reports (Q-Report) with supplier KPIs
• Contributing to annual supplier evaluations and tracking measures
• Observing and complying with legal and safety regulations
• Trustful cooperation with supervisors and other internal/external departments

Your profile:

• Technical degree or equivalent vocational training with master/technician qualification, plus several years of experience in quality or supplier management.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, confident communication and assertiveness, certified auditor.
• Good knowledge in electronics, including PCBAs (SMD and THT assembly).
• Solid experience with common quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and quality tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, 8D report, etc.).
• Independent working style and confident appearance.
• Very good spoken and written English skills, additional foreign languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel, including on short notice.
• Sustainable supplier development in line with standards and methods.
• Tracking action plans and verifying effectiveness.
• Conducting product, process, and system audits.
• Implementing supplier quality improvement measures.
• Monitoring supplier performance and following up on actions.
• Ensuring product quality through supplier development (domestic & international).
• Supporting supplier selection and leading quality‑related contract negotiations.
• Supporting series quality in escalations and customer audits.
• Close collaboration within global Swoboda.
