For our client a manufacturer of charge air coolers, intercoolers and cooling towers, we are searching for a Supply Chain Manager in Ghimbav, Brasov.

Main Responsibilities:

• Being responsible for all supply chain functions in the factory, including purchasing/sourcing, material planning, production planning, warehousing, and shipping;
• Securing the needed competences and capabilities within supply chain processes and staff;
• Acting as a member of the management group at factory level and Global Supply Chain level;
• Ensuring the SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & People) performance of the plant from an SCM point of view;
• Sharing responsibility for the Operational Sales department together with the European Sales Manager.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Degree in Production Engineering or a Master’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or similar;
• 7–10 years of Supply Chain management experience;
• 3–5 years of strategic, tactical, and operational purchasing experience;
• Good command of English in speech and writing (advanced level);
• Strong knowledge of PPAP and supplier quality standards;
• Solid knowledge of Production and Quality Management and their interaction with Supply Chain;
• Familiarity with Category Management, Tenders, ABC classification, EDI, ERP/MRP settings, Policy Deployment (PD), and POI;
• Good ERP system knowledge (preferably AX);
• Strong leadership skills (developing, coaching, motivating).
