We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team at Sykatec – an Innomotics Business.

Your Future Responsibilities
Project Management:

  • Manage the projects independently with responsability for succesful execution
  • Manage prototype orders and execution in the factory, qualifications/acceptance with the customer, and ensure that we deliver on time
  • Ensuring compliance with all contractual agreements and legal requirements.
  • Planning and Scheduling,
    • Define project scope: Establish clear objectives and deliverables.
    • Create a project plan: Develop timelines, milestones, and schedules.
    • Resource allocation: Assign tasks and manage resources effectively.
    • Coordinates and supervises all aspects of a project, and takes measures to ensure its completion on time, within budget and according to established quality & contract standards.
    • Ramp-up projects to Serial Production
  • Execution and Monitoring
    • Team management: Lead and motivate the project team.
    • Progress tracking: Monitor project progress and performance.
    • Risk management: Identify and mitigate risks.
  • Budget & Cost Management
    • Budget planning: Develop and manage the project budget.
    • Cost control: Monitor expenses and ensure the project stays within budget.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Quality control: Ensure that project deliverables meet the required standards.
    • Continuous improvement: Implement processes for ongoing improvement.
  • Closing
    • Project completion: Ensure all project objectives are met.
    • Documentation: Prepare final reports and documentation.
    • Post-project evaluation: Conduct reviews to learn from the project experience
    • Support the quotation process

Customer Communication

  • Take over the technical customer communication
    • Customer Meetings, alignement, and technical clarifications
    • Customer visits
  • Stakeholder engagement:
    • Communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed.
    • Support and maintenance of existing customer relationships in the series business.
  • Reporting:
    • Provide regular updates and reports on project status.
    • Support and maintenance of existing customer relationships in the series business.
  • Conflict resolution:
    • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts.
    • Communicating with customers and internal teams to manage escalations quickly and effectively.
    • Negotiating and settling claims with customers.

Your profile

  • Technical studies in the field of Industrial Engineering & Project Management
  • +3 years’ professional experience in account management/project management
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset and high level of service orientation.
  • Technical understanding of documentation, and manufacturing processes with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes (Stamping, Bending, Welding, Coating, and Assembly)
  • A sense of responsibility, cooperation and trust are the basis of your daily work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical ideas clearly.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and switch between different tasks easily;
  • Advance Microsoft Office skills;
  • Good command of the English language, German would be an advantage.
