Context

As part of a broader strategy to professionalise and scale its after-sales service function, our client is creating a central Technical Service Manager position. This role will act as the technical backbone of the service organisation, ensuring that processes, documentation, and support structures are robust and scalable.

Your mission

Based at the production site, you will operate as the technical authority for all service-related topics. This is not a traditional people management role, but a highly influential position where you will bring structure, clarity, and technical rigour to the service function.

Key focuses

• Act as the key interface between production, service teams, partners, and customers
• Own and develop all service documentation (manuals, procedures, training materials)
• Support field teams and partners with advanced technical troubleshooting and guidance
• Contribute to the stabilisation and continuous improvement of service processes
• Play a hands-on role in complex installations, escalations, and technical training when required
