For our client, specialized in distribution and logistics services, we are recruiting a Transport Dispatcher.

Main Responsibilities:

• Identifying and managing transportation opportunities;
• Maintaining and developing relationships with customers and carriers;
• Planning, coordinating and monitoring transport operations;
• Managing transport orders and related documentation;
• Monitoring costs, routes and compliance with delivery schedules.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Having a minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation and/or logistics;
• Working with freight exchange platforms such as TIMOCOM, TRANS.EU and the Romanian Commodities Exchange (BRM);
• Planning transport routes and organizing load consolidation ;
• Understanding transport legislation, drivers’ working and driving time regulations, the CMR Convention and ADR regulations;
• Knowing the transportation market and road network in Romania;
• Demonstrating strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills;
• Holding a Transport Manager Certification being considered an advantage.
