What You'll Be Doing

• Ensuring the stability and functionality of IT infrastructure and systems by proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems.
• Restoring services, meeting service level agreements, and ensuring client satisfaction by designing and supporting middleware solutions, with expertise in Websphere and the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) in both on-premises and cloud environments
• Developing and implementing middleware solutions to support business applications
• Ensuring seamless integration and communication between different systems and applications
• Handling system integration to maintain data consistency across all systems
• Monitoring and tuning middleware services to achieve optimal performance
• Identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues related to middleware software
• Providing technical support and guidance to team members to ensure efficient issue resolution
• Collaborating with database administrators, software developers, and other IT teams to ensure integrated delivery of software systems
• Creating and maintaining documentation for middleware architecture, design, and configurations
• Implementing security measures to protect middleware services and maintain system integrity
• Adhering to and maintaining security best practices for middleware applications
• Managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring seamless operation of production applications
• Supporting and maintaining on-premises middleware environments to ensure business continuity
• Investigating support calls to identify the root cause of incidents, events, and problems to prevent reoccurrence
• Documenting actions, selecting appropriate solutions, and implementing resolution and recovery plans while adhering to service level agreements
  

What You'll Bring Along 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent level through experience and professional training
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong expertise in Websphere and LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) technologies
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises infrastructure
• Familiarity with other middleware technologies such as Oracle WebLogic and JBoss
• Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
• In-depth understanding of network protocols and security principles
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server platforms
• Familiarity with backup and storage technologies
• Strong ability to quickly learn new technologies independently, demonstrating a willingness for self-study
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts effectively
• Structured and process-oriented mindset, maintaining a high-level overview of tasks and responsibilities
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• A strong customer-focused attitude, thriving in a dynamic, multinational environment
• Proven experience leading a technical team, with a service-oriented and results-driven approach
