We have wide distribution and our games are played by millions of people every month by players all over the world.We are currently looking to expand our branded design team with a 2D Artist. You will be part of our game development team and work in a tight knit team involving both artists, developers and project managers. Your task will be to create the visual assets for our branded games in cooperation with the branded design team.Please note that we are working full time in the office - we believe that in-person collaboration helps us build a stronger team .We offer a nice office in Bucharest, transparent remuneration (the salary range for this role will be shared with you via email/message prior to the first interview stage), an opportunity to work with other experienced colleagues and the chance to take part in building a new team.We Also Offer23 days of paid holiday / yearA monthly budget on Benefit Edenred (specific budget details will be provided along with the salary range before the interview).Your Tasks Will IncludeCreate Graphical Assets and Illustrations: Develop detailed and visually appealing mock-ups and 2D assets for branded slot games in different art styles, including new or changed characters, symbols, backgrounds, all while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines & the original IP’s style.Develop Reference Material: Produce comprehensive reference material and style guides that front-end developers can use to accurately implement your designs.Learn: Stay informed about the online gaming industry, keeping up with the latest trends and understanding what appeals to players to ensure our games remain competitive and exciting.Participate in Game Progress Reviews: Engage in regular reviews of game development progress, providing constructive feedback and suggestions to improve the implementation of your designs.Collaborate with Colleagues: Work alongside other artists, developers, and partners to ensure a cohesive and high-quality end product. This includes both in-house team members and external partners.Required Skills and Experience:Game Development Experience: Proven experience in game development or a strong portfolio demonstrating your game art capabilities.Proficiency with Adobe Suite: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, for creating and editing graphical assets.Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing a wide range of 2D art styles and high-quality game assets. Experience adapting existing IPs is a strong plus.Preferred QualificationsSocial Gaming Experience: Previous experience in creating art for social or casual games.Passion for Games: A personal interest in gaming and a strong understanding of the gaming industry, or a keen desire to learn and immerse yourself in this field.Nice To HaveAnimation and Visual Effects: Ability or interest in creating animations and visual effects that enhance the gaming experience (Spine or similar tools).Please provide a portfolio or samples of work.
