Payten (a member of ASEE Group) offers complete, omnichannel payment industry solutions for financial and non-financial institutions supporting card and cardless transactions. We are currently looking for an Account Manager that will assist our merchant business development and sales team in daily operations and growth of the IPD business unit due to our rapid expansion of the Independent EFT POS Deployment (IPD – Payment Terminals) on the Romanian market.


Main accountabilities:

  • Drive sales activities for eCommerce and POS Sharing solutions, targeting merchants across all market segments
  • Support the identification and development of new business opportunities
  • Manage the existing client portfolio and actively build new sales pipelines for both eCommerce and POS Sharing solutions, in collaboration with the team and line manager
  • Proactively engage with potential customers to promote Payten’s offerings
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis for both eCommerce and POS Sharing verticals
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales performance and customer satisfaction reports
  • Maintain and update client data in the CRM system across both verticals
  • Participate in meetings with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage correspondence between the sales team and customers to ensure clear and timely communication
  • Identify and propose improvements to sales processes and workflows
  • Assist with the preparation of internal and external documentation as needed

  • 5 years of working experience in similar jobs (experience in administration and/or sales, banking/payment industry) is not mandatory but will be a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of a target market (business environment, challenges and opportunities, market segmentation, customer needs)

  • Strong understanding of customer business plans and budgets
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Advanced networking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication (B2-C1)
  • Basic project management experience
  • Quick adaptation in new situations
  • Ability to navigate and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and problem solving
  • Computer skills – a good knowledge of MS Office
