As an Account Manager Material Science - Polymers and Construction, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth across both polymer distribution and construction-related applications. You will manage key accounts, develop new business opportunities, and promote our broad material portfolio.You will be part of the East Europe Team and collaborate closely with Customer Service, Marketing, Product Management, and Technical Service to deliver value-added solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategy: expand market share and achieve revenue goals, with a focus on driving sales of value-added engineering materials. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, monitor performance, and generate reports to highlight key achievements and growth opportunities
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, understand their needs, and ensure high satisfaction levels. Reach out to new customers and prospects to extend pipeline growth
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and competitive insights, tailoring strategies to maximize sales.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in polymers and construction materials, promote innovative products
- Budget Management: Oversee sales budgets, manage expenses, and allocate resources efficiently.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards across all sales activities.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or a related field.
- Proven sales experience in polymers, construction materials, or industrial distribution
- Hands-on experience with polymer processing, converting techniques, or construction systems is a strong asset
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in the local language, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- A results-driven mindset with a track record of taking customer projects from concept to execution.
- Analytical abilities to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Enthusiasm to travel extensively (more than 60%) to engage with clients and expand market reach.
