What does an Account Manager do at WPP Production?

• Provide comprehensive briefs to the Production team on film-versioning projects originating from assigned markets, ensuring clarity of requirements, timelines, and deliverables
• Proactively identify and resolve project-related issues, offering informed guidance and strategic recommendations to both local agencies and the client
• Manage expectations around timelines and delivery, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned with project deadlines and any changes are communicated promptly
• Oversee the full process of Clearcast submissions, as well as the delivery of TVC and cinema assets for the UK and Ireland markets, ensuring all materials meet regulatory and technical standards
• Coordinate the submission of edits to local agencies within the designated markets for review and approval, ensuring feedback is captured, documented, and integrated efficiently into the production workflow
• Identify and document platform-related issues: continuously monitor the platforms to detect technical problems, usability challenges, or workflow inefficiencies that may impact users
• Ensuring costs are accurately captured, categorized, and invoiced. Maintain clear documentation and verify that all billable activities align with client agreements and internal financial processes
• Prepare cost estimates in collaboration with Production for all out-of-scope projects
• Generate accurate reports and status notifications 
  

Requirements

• Experience of working in a TV production role is essential
• Demonstrable experience in managing video global production projects
• Excellent English, spoken and written, is mandatory
• Very well-organised person, self-starter
• Ability to persevere. Chase for answers. Find solutions. Get things done
• Good with workflow systems and finance process systems
• Able to work with numbers, create reports mainly in EXCEL and PPT
