is seeking a dedicated professional Senior Accountant to join Financial Department in Bucharest office.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant. In this role, you will manage core accounting operations, ensure compliance with both local and international standards, and support accurate and timely financial reporting. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys ownership, structure. and continuous improvement.
What you bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong working knowledge of accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Excel proficiency
> Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and structured approach to tasks
High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines
Good command of English (minimum 81 level); additional languages are considered an advantage.
What will you do
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger postings
Ensure compliance with Romanian Accounting Standards (RAS) and international Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Prepare client-requested financial documents (balance confirmations, turnover statements) and contribute to overdue invoice recovery in collaboration with operational teams
➤ Prepare and submit periodic internal reports required by management
Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy, completeness and integrity of financial data
Assist with the preparation and submission of monthly tax declarations (D300, D390, D394)
Prepare periodic statistical reports for the National Bank of Romania and the National Institute of Statistics
Actively participate in annual statutory audits and internal audits
➤ Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to enhancing efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations
➤ Permanent update on changes in accounting regulations, tax legislation and best practices
