Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial management, controlling, or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of Romanian accounting and tax regulations.
Experience with SAF-T reporting and statutory compliance requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Good working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Hands-on attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a growing team.
Responsibilities
Perform and oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with Romanian accounting standards and legal requirements.
Prepare and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts and monitor the company's liquidity position.
Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Prepare and submit statutory reports, including SAF-T declarations and other required fiscal filings.
Act as the primary point of contact for external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
Manage payroll-related information and ensure employee pay variables are accurately communicated to the external payroll provider.
Prepare financial analyses, management reports, and key performance indicators to support decision-making.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Work closely with the production and operational teams to improve processes and contribute to the ongoing development of the company's ERP system.
Develop and implement accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial policies as the company grows.
Participate in special projects and support the management team on financial and business matters.
