Job Description
As Accounting Clerk ,you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting daily accounting, especially after opening phase of Mercure Oradea.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Record financial data accurately into accounting system
- Process and reconcile bank statements
- Process cash transactions and reconcile cash register with Z reports
- Reconcile revenue postings with PMS reports
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Respond to vendor and internal accounting inquiries
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all documentation complies with local legislation and internal standards.
- Support preparation of all financial reports (P&L actual, budget, cash flow, forecast ).
- Assist internal communication between departments and administrative processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required, Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- At least 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Saga, SAP, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Fluency in Romanian (written and spoken) is required/ English proficiency is an advantage
