Euromaster is a leading European specialist in tire and vehicle services and is part of the Michelin Group. With more than a hundred locations and partners throughout the supported country, there is always a Euromaster location nearby. Euromaster Business Services (EBS) is the dedicated shared service center supporting the Euromaster Group. In this role, your focus will be entirely on the financial health of one specific entity within the Group. As Accounting Manager, you are based at EBS, where the primary part of the country's accounting team is located.

This is a functional management position. While the operational and people management of the team is handled by stream managers at EBS, you provide the critical functional and content-driven leadership. You guide this core team at EBS on financial processes while closely coordinating and partnering with a smaller counterpart of the team based locally in the supported country. Together, you ensure a tightly organized administration, meeting deadlines, and continuous process improvement. You report to the Finance Director and play a key role in the further professionalization of the financial organization.

Job Information

As Accounting Manager, you are an essential link within the team. You ensure that financial reports for your designated entity are reliable, timely, and complete, in line with both the local laws and regulations of the supported country and the international (IFRS) guidelines of Michelin.

You provide functional direction to the EBS-based team, where the vast majority of the daily accounting transactions are processed, and collaborate intensively with the local team members, stream managers, and department heads. You also maintain good contacts with the CFO, Group Treasury, external auditors, and other stakeholders.

The foundation is in place, but there is still plenty of room to improve processes. Your most important tasks and responsibilities:

• Functional Management & Coordination: Providing process leadership and functional guidance to the core accounting team based at EBS, while closely collaborating with EBS stream managers and the smaller local team to ensure unified workflows and knowledge sharing.
• Closing & Reporting: Responsible for a timely and correct monthly and annual closing for the specific entity, including reports according to local legislation and group guidelines.
• Process Optimization: Improving and structuring financial processes and strengthening internal controls.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with fiscal obligations and timely tax returns.
• Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial results and providing explanations for consolidations and reports.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintaining contacts with banks and collaborating with the Group Treasury team.
• Operational Support: Operational participation when necessary. You are hands-on and provide content support and expertise where needed.

In addition, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• Minimum higher professional education degree in accountancy or a related financial field.
• 5 years of relevant experience in a comparable financial position.
• Strong accounting background, with proven experience in reporting, closings, and audits.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Analytical, structured, and accurate. You know how to organize processes tightly.
• Experience working within a Shared Service Center (like EBS) environment is a strong plus
• Experience with SAP is also a strong plus
• Decisive and able to involve others in your approach: you can explain the financial framework and remain consistent in driving process execution.
