On behalf of our Client, a prestigious multinational manufacturing company, we are looking for an Accounting&Reporting Manager, located in Bacau.

Responsibilities:

Group Accounting & Consolidation

• Responsible for accurate month-end and year-end closing at group level.
• Keeping (or having kept) balance sheet files and
• reconciliations.
• Consolidation of all entities; Monitoring intercompany processes and eliminations.

External Reporting & Audits

• Preparation and documentation of the consolidated financial statements of the companies of the group
• Coordinating the preparation of financial statements of foreign entities with local accounting service providers
• Coordinating the preparation of corporate tax returns with local tax service providers
• Primary point of contact for the external auditor; preparing audit files and following up on findings.
• Monitoring laws and regulations and deadlines for filing.

Internal Control & Compliance

• Designing and implementing a risk/controls framework and monitoring the operation of key internal controls.

Performance management

• Leading the accounting team (3 FTE), including providing coaching on the job, continuous improvement and learning;
• Conducting appraisal interviews

Educational &experience requirements:

• Completed university education in Accountancy or Business Economics, Finance or similar. RA/CPA/ACCA is a strong advantage.
• 7–12 years of relevant experience in an international environment.
• Demonstrable experience with consolidation, external reporting and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP; Strong Excel skills, experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Advanced level of English- is a must.
