Purpose of role:

The role involves working with cloud-based accounting systems and the online accounting apps that integrate with them, as well as performing financial analysis to an advanced level in Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Managing client accounts: mailboxes, solve queries and advise the client of suppliers chasing overdue invoices;
• Prepare VAT returns in accordance with HMRC regulations;
• Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts;
• Offering support to the finance teams in Iasi and London;
• Using cutting edge technology, cloud based software and integrated artificial intelligence applications;
• Keeping the client informed of: overdue balances, unidentified payments and missing invoices;
• Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct;
• Keeping up to date with the Anti Money Laundering training and assessing the clients transactions for any suspicious activity.

Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or any certifications in finance as accounting such as ACCA or AAT;
• Minimum 2 years' experience in UK accounting or finance;
• Good knowledge of the English accounting system;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Organizational abilities and attention to details;
• Ability to work as part of a team;
• Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
