The Opportunity

We are forming the Advisory Board of Mipu Romania and are seeking a Non-Executive Director with deep knowledge of the Romanian and CEE market in the power generation or steel & metals sector.

This is a part-time, high-impact role — approximately ten working days per year — designed for a senior professional who wants meaningful involvement without a full-time commitment.

Responsibilities

• Review strategic materials and commercial proposals ahead of board sessions

• Participate in Mipu Group events as an institutional representative and strategic advisor

• Support business development through active network engagement in Romania and CEE

• Contribute to four core priorities:

  – Transition from technology vendor to business-impact partner

  – Market entry and distribution strategy for Romania and CEE

  – Development of commercially sustainable contractual models

  – Partner channel development and M&A pipeline

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in power generation, steel & metals, or a closely related energy-intensive industry

• Established network and credibility at senior level in Romania and/or the CEE region

• Demonstrated ability to drive business development, facilitate high-level introductions and accelerate commercial decisions

• Comfortable working with a young, international and fully remote team
