We are seeking a Technical Lead (Backend AI – Python) with 10+ years of experience to drive backend architecture, lead development teams, and integrate AI/LLM capabilities into enterprise systems. This role requires strong technical depth, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate across onshore/offshore teams while working closely with clients on requirements and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems using Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Architect microservices, APIs, event-driven components, and cloud-native solutions.
• Integrate AI/LLM-based features (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Llama, HuggingFace) into backend applications.
• Gather and refine requirements directly with clients and product stakeholders.
• Provide effort estimations, technical planning, and delivery roadmaps.
• Coordinate daily work with onshore/offshore teams, ensuring smooth handoffs and timeline alignment.
• Lead technical discussions, solution reviews, and client presentations.
• Oversee code quality, testing, CI/CD, and production readiness.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in Python backend and AI integration.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend engineering experience, with strong expertise in Python.
• Proven experience as a technical lead in distributed/global team environments.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM integrations and related frameworks.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, caching, and message queues (Kafka/SQS/RabbitMQ).
• Excellent client-facing communication skills for requirement gathering and solution presentations.
• Ability to provide accurate estimations, manage delivery, and ensure technical quality.
