Responsibilities
We are looking within the International Sanctions & Embargo team (Compliance business line) for a Sanctions & Embargoes L1 Analyst in charge of the analysis of the Level 1 Embargo alerts on banking transactions.
Specifically, you will be required to:
- The study of Level 1 alerts on the transactions of various poles of activity to ensure compliance with the international regulations in force and the Group Policy on sanctions and embargoes, namely:
- The analysis of operations with regard to the regulations concerned and the Group Policy;
- Decision-making on operations;
- Participation in the improvement of the existing system and coordination with the existing site in Paris (sharing of good practices, harmonization of analyses);
- Participation in other missions of the service when needed (coordination with the Management Support team, training, new products and processes, reporting, communication).
Profile required
- Knowledge of different banking products and payment systems (SWIFT / SEPA / MX);
- A very good level of English both written and speaking (French level is nice to have or openness to learn French);
- Knowledge of European, French and US regulatory frameworks on embargo and international financial sanctions;
- Reactivity, in particular capacity to analyze and to translate operationally as soon as possible any new alerts analysis instructions provided by the Compliance Group entity;
- Rigor and risks common sense;
- Team spirit and flexibility;
- Change friendly.
