As a Frontend Engineer at HCLTech, you will play a pivotal role in shaping user experiences for cutting-edge applications. You will leverage your expertise in modern frontend technologies to develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions that drive business value. Your contributions will directly impact product innovation, customer satisfaction, and the overall success of HCLTech’s digital initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust frontend applications using Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver features aligned with business objectives.
• Rapidly prototype new features, iterating quickly based on feedback to ensure optimal user experience and performance.
• Implement responsive designs using HTML and CSS, ensuring seamless usability across devices and browsers.
• Identify, articulate, and resolve technical challenges and blockers, communicating effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing utilizing automation tools such as Selenium or similar frameworks to ensure software quality.
• Participate in full-stack product development initiatives, working closely with backend engineers and leveraging technologies such as Java and GraphQL when required.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and adhere to best practices in code quality, security, and performance optimization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Angular (required).
• Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with web automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium) and methodologies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Proven expertise in rapid prototyping and iterative development.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues and solutions.
• Experience in full-stack product development and familiarity with Java and GraphQL (preferred but not required).
