Job Description

The AP Accountant will be able to perform accounting activities in the areas of Accounting, including but not restricted to :

‣ Perform suppliers/claims and other payments

‣ Post bank statements and journals

‣ Create and maintain suppliers/business partners

‣ Perform transitory accounts reconciliation and uploads

‣ Perform reconciliations between sub- and main-ledger

‣ Acts as SPOC for the designated accounting area in front of customer, team lead/manager, SSC Management and external parties

‣ Participates in the creation / update of Finance Standard Operating Procedures used by the SSC operational teams

‣ Is accountable for operations’ accuracy and quality regarding statutory and Group rules and standards

‣ Participates in project work (e.g. lean & optimization topics)

‣ Participates to functional & cross-functional meetings and shares feedback and regular contact with the functional finance team

Qualifications

Languages :

• Fluent in Italian
• Fluent in English
• French – nice to have

Education:

• Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Business or Accounting

Experience:

• First experience in an accounting department minimum; preferred 2-3 years
• Experience in trade credit insurance industry preferred
• Experience in an international environment preferred
