The Opportunity

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve incidents, problems and changes;
• Analyze technical incidents and involve 3rd level support if needed
• Manage ITIL processes and monitor applications;
• Implement monitoring for production environments
• Maintain intricate knowledge of the entire SEPA processing and Instant Payment processing chain, i.e., having an end to end view;
• Quickly and accurately determine impact in case of incidents;
• Estimate resolution times in case of high level incidents;
• Establish counter measures in case of incidents;
• Initiate improvement plans and prevention of problems;
• Contribute to the introduction of new products;
• Coordinate and handle service requests
• Cover 24/7-standby together with the team (once each second month / in a later stage)

Who We Are Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

• Ability to work and communicate in an international and multi-cultural environment;
• Strong interest in supporting and maintaining complex issues
• Experience with scripting, SQL, UNIX, LINUX, Oracle databases
• High degree of initiative, accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail;
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to change in a complex global organization;
• Acquire new competencies and accept new challenges;
• Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities;
• ITIL certification and knowledge of XML/XSD, SEPA is an advantage
• Proficiency in English and German is mandatory
