Objective Summary

The main objective of the Area Sales Manager is to achieve the sales targets (both in volume and product mix) within the assigned territory. This includes driving continuous growth in sales volume and enhancing AIT’s profitability through effective collaboration with the regional dealer network. Additionally, the role focuses on improving brand image and the quality of representation for the marketed brands across the territory.

Sales Responsibilities

• Ensure achievement of planned sales volumes and qualitative sales process objectives within the assigned area, in line with company policy; contribute to target setting and action planning.
• Implement the company’s sales and marketing strategy across the network of subordinate dealers.
• Participate in the negotiation and definition of annual business plans with dealers, including sales targets, quality goals, and marketing actions.
• Monitor the local market, competition, and competitors’ local campaigns to provide insights and strategic input.
• Support key B2B and B2C negotiations for dealers and propose regional sales growth strategies.
• Regularly visit dealers (minimum once per month) to assess performance, ensure compliance with brand standards, and offer guidance.
• Analyze dealer performance and propose corrective measures for underperformers; prepare and submit reports on visits, sales traffic, forecasts, and marketing activity.

Education and experience

• Completed higher education
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in automotive sales in a big plus
• Experience in training delivery - an advantage
• Experience in coordinating sales teams - an advantage
• Driving license category B
• Availability to travel 80% of the time
• English language - advanced
