An interesting opportunity to join our client's team at a dynamic civil engineering firm specialising in integrated architecture and design services, using advanced 3D modelling and BIM technology to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction. We are looking for aa Assistant Site Manager to join this organisation.

Responsibilities

• Providing support in organising daily activities on the construction site
• Managing site documents
• minutes, permits, daily work reports, etc.
• Updating and archiving technical and administrative documentation
• Collaborating with the procurement and finance departments to prepare and verify necessary documents
• Monitoring the need for office supplies and equipment
• Placing orders and ensuring timely delivery
• Maintaining relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
• Communicating changes and project requirements to the involved parties
• Participating in coordination meetings and preparing minutes
• Updating health and safety documents and collaborating with the health and safety officer
• Identifying operational issues and proposing solutions to streamline activities

Requirements

• Experience in an administrative/logistics role; experience in construction is an advantage
• Secondary or higher education in relevant fields
• Construction, Engineering, Administration, Management or similar
• Specialisation courses in H&S or logistics - an advantage
• Ability to organise, prioritise and manage multiple activities simultaneously
• Attention to detail and experience in working with technical and administrative documents
• PC operating skills: MS Office - Excel, Word, Outlook
• Good communication skills with execution teams, subcontractors and management
• Diplomacy, collaborative spirit and solution-oriented
• Knowledge of construction regulations, permits, approvals and H&S - an advantage
• Availability for work carried out on a specific site schedule
