About FanDuel

Role Overview
This position involves working with and being part of a cross-skilled Web, Android and iOS development team and will have regular contact with teams looking after other aspects of FanDuel products & tools.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Review product specifications to give development estimates and product feedback.
• Innovative technical design and creative of technical specifications.
• Work in an Agile environment.
• Software creation, adhering to and feeding back into departmental standards and guidelines.
• Technical documentation that shares knowledge effectively.
• Self-learning is a plus.
• Creative problem solver.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
  

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required

• Working knowledge of JavaScript, with 1–2 years of experience through internships, freelance work, academic projects, or early professional roles.
• Basic knowledge of Typescript
• Familiarity with React.js (v16+) and Node.js (v14+), and a strong interest in building scalable, real-world applications using modern frameworks.
• Basic grasp of web application structures—client/server models, REST APIs, and database interaction.
• Comfortable with HTML5, CSS3, and modern ES6+ JavaScript features, with a focus on writing clear and well-structured code.
• Exposure to handling responsive layouts and common cross-browser compatibility challenges.
• Curious about how browsers work, with a growing understanding of DOM manipulation, performance, and front-end behavior.
• Attention to detail when it comes to visual styling, layout, and overall UI consistency.
• Quick to learn, eager to grow, and ready to collaborate with teammates on real-world problems.
• Next.js & AWS experience is a plus.
• Exposure to emerging innovative technologies in business applications is an advantage
