The Opportunity
While much of the automotive industry is slowing down, Piaxo is accelerating its growth.
We are currently hiring over 150 engineers and opening a new R&D center dedicated to battery and electrification development. To support this expansion, we are looking for a Senior Sales Manager who will help grow our presence with automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers across Western Europe and the USA.

Piaxo is an engineering company headquartered in Romania, with a presence in several locations including Munich, Germany and Gothenburg, Sweden.
The company holds several industry certifications including TISAX Level 3, multiple ISO certifications, and a strong PSCR score, and is an official reseller of Technica Engineering.
Piaxo focuses on turnkey R&D project solutions, delivered by highly experienced engineers with 5–25 years of industry experience, supporting automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
Our teams develop complex automotive products, supporting the entire V-model development lifecycle across software, systems, and hardware, covering complete ECU programs for a wide range of in-vehicle systems — from powertrain and braking systems to infotainment and door access systems.
Most services are delivered nearshore from Romania, combined with on-site support close to the customer, allowing our partners to scale engineering capacity efficiently while maintaining high technical standards.
Description
As Executive Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing new accounts and growing existing ones.
- As Executive Account Manager, you have the responsibility to develop new accounts and grow the existing ones
- Represent Piaxo in client’s relationship with OEMs and TIRE1s
- Develop strategies in cooperation with Piaxo’s CEO and Operational Managers
- Customer contract negotiations and ensure closure of business
- Manage delivery of RFPs / RFIs / RFQs
Requirements
- Successful track record of several years in selling services within the automotive industry (engineering services or people placement)
- Strong ability to build close and trusted customer relationships within complex organizations
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Strong business and financial orientation
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
Mandatory
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
- Having an existing network within the R&D sector of the automotive industry
- Basic knowledge of technical requirements of the industry (AUTOSAR, MCAL, Basic Software, Application, ASPICE, ISO26262, etc.)
