🔎 About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, platform teams, and technology delivery teams to define, analyze, and translate business requirements into effective payment solutions, with a strong focus on the Fiserv Dovetail platform.

You will play a key role in shaping payment product implementations, supporting onboarding processes, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical architecture.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements and design workshops with business and technology stakeholders to support product backlog development and overall solution definition
• Analyze business requirements and assist architecture, development, and testing teams in understanding the proposed solutions
• Work effectively in an Agile delivery environment, demonstrating ownership, independence, and strong collaboration skills
• Support the onboarding of internal and external entities onto the Dovetail payment processing platform
• Collaborate closely with the platform team to understand Dovetail capabilities, configuration options, and integration touchpoints
• Provide functional expertise throughout the end‑to‑end payment product lifecycle, from requirements to implementation and rollout
• Ensure solutions are aligned with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and payment scheme rules

✅ Required Skills & Experience

Business Analysis & Domain Expertise

• 10+ years of strong business analysis experience within the payments and retail banking domain
• Proven hands‑on experience with payment processing and digital payment solutions
• Solid understanding of SEPA, SEPA Instant, and ISO 20022‑based messaging
• Experience with one or more high‑value, bulk, or instant payment schemes in Europe, UK, or US (SEPA experience preferred)
• Experience in payment product implementations is a strong advantage

Platform & Technical Knowledge

• Strong working experience with the Fiserv Dovetail Platform, including understanding of Dovetail products and applications
• Good knowledge of Dovetail configuration items and platform integrations
• Excellent understanding of technical architecture concepts, including:
• Microservices and API‑based architectures
• Rules engines and caching technologies
• Databases, SQL, and data flows
• Architecture patterns and UML models

Personal & Professional Skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross‑functional teams
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning in business domains, technologies, and industry trends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders

• Experience across multiple geographies (EU / UK / US payment schemes)
• Exposure to regulatory and compliance‑driven payment environments
• Background working with large‑scale banking or financial services platforms
