We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Analyst Community Lead to lead the evolution of our Business Analysis function.

This is a leadership role focused on two major areas: People and Processes.

You will be responsible for growing the capability, performance, and engagement of our Business Analyst community, while also designing and improving the frameworks, standards, and ways of working that enable consistent, scalable, and high-quality delivery across teams.

Responsibilities

People Leadership

• Lead and develop the Business Analyst community across the organization
• Mentor, coach, and support Business Analysts in their professional growth
• Help define career paths, development plans, and progression expectations for BA roles
• Support hiring, onboarding, and integration of new team members
• Create a strong culture of collaboration, accountability, ownership, and continuous learning
• Identify skill gaps and drive training or capability-building initiatives
• Foster knowledge sharing and cross-team alignment within the BA function

Process Leadership

• Define, improve, and maintain Business Analysis standards, frameworks, and best practices
• Ensure consistency and quality of requirements, documentation, and BA deliverables across teams
• Improve requirement gathering, discovery, handover, prioritization, and delivery workflows
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions
• Introduce measurable quality standards and process governance for the BA function
• Increase efficiency, predictability, and transparency across cross-functional delivery processes

Strategic & Operational Contribution

• Partner with Product, Delivery, Engineering, and Leadership teams to align priorities
• Support critical initiatives requiring senior business analysis expertise
• Translate business complexity into structured execution models and clear requirements
• Act as a trusted point of reference for business analysis practices across the company

Qualifications & skills

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Romanian
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software, SaaS, or product environment
• Previous experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating analysts or operational teams
• Strong people management, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong process design and continuous improvement mindset
• Excellent analytical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities
• Ability to transform ambiguity into clear frameworks, requirements, and actions
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and agile delivery environments
• High ownership mindset with the ability to drive initiatives independently
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in Business, Technology, Engineering, or similar fields

Nice to have

• Certification in Business Analysis, Agile, or Project Management
• Experience building Communities of Practice or internal capability programs
• Experience in aviation, enterprise software, or operationally complex industries

Our recruitment process

Objectives & Key Results

OKR 1 — One standard, one community

Objective: One clear standard for business analysis across all product teams, with a community model and leadership line that gives each team strong BA support, aligned ways of working, and clear development and role clarity, without slowing delivery.

Key results (by Q4 2026 unless noted):

• Portfolio quality: requirements rework below 15% portfolio-wide; first-time acceptance at least 80% after the full BA → design → engineering → QA path; central templates on at least 90% of BA artefacts.
• Product Managers rate BA support positively in the quarterly survey (per the agreed score threshold for this role).
• Business Analysts rate the role, community, and dual-line set-up positively in the team survey (quarterly; per the agreed threshold).
• Operating model: every BA completes the bi-annual alignment to the new BA model and standards on time (100%); each quarter, no open matrix or ownership issues left with the Head of Product or Head of Technology.

OKR 2 — AI adoption for the BA community

Objective: A practical AI adoption roadmap for the BA community so AI accelerates day-to-day BA work in a governed, repeatable way.

Key results:

• Roadmap published and in active execution (timing per plan).
• At least 70% of in-flight BA work uses the AI-assisted practices from the roadmap (by Q4 2026).
• AI-supported traceability in production for all product teams (Q4 2026).
• AI-supported requirements capture or extraction in production for all product teams (Q3 2026).
