Your Role And Responsibilities
We are seeking a mid-senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale Core Banking transformation program for a major banking client. In this role, you will contribute to the implementation and integration of a new Core Banking System, working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technology partners to ensure a successful migration and system rollout.
You will play a key role in translating business requirements into functional specifications, supporting integration and migration activities, and ensuring alignment between business processes and the capabilities of the new core banking platform.
In This Role, You Will

• Lead business analysis activities for the implementation and integration of a Core Banking System
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders
• Facilitate workshops and requirement discovery sessions with business users and technical teams
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and process documentation
• Support system integration activities, including interface analysis and validation
• Contribute to data migration analysis and validation as part of the system transformation program
• Support testing activities, including test preparation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and vendors participating in the program
• Ensure alignment between business processes, system capabilities, and regulatory requirements

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Business Analysis within banking or financial services environments
• Strong understanding of core banking processes and regulatory requirements
• Experience supporting Core Banking system implementations, integrations, or transformation programs
• Experience working with system integration, interface analysis, and data migration activities
• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and requirements management practices
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced project environment
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Availability to work 3 days per week from the client site in Bucharest
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Experience working with Temenos Transact or other core banking platforms
• Experience supporting testing activities and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during system implementations
• Understanding of banking regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in financial services environments
