Business AnalystAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a dedicated product team developing a new generation of a cloud-based diagnostics platform, supporting a global leader in industrial technology.You will play a key role from the very beginning of the product development journey.This role combines business analysis, product ownership, stakeholder management, and technical collaboration. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and domain experts and will have real influence over what gets built and how the product evolves.What You’ll DoUnderstand and shape the product vision by analysing the existing solution, its business processes, workflows, integrations, and user needs, while working closely with business stakeholders, domain experts, and technical teams.Translate business requirements into actionable deliverables, defining user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and a well-prioritised product backlog.Own product prioritisation and roadmap evolution, balancing business value, technical feasibility, quality standards, and delivery objectives while identifying opportunities for future improvements.Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA engineers throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and successfully delivered.Drive validation and adoption of the new solution, ensuring it meets business expectations, preserves critical functionality, and supports a smooth transition from the existing system.Act as the bridge between business and technology, communicating priorities, progress, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders and supporting release activities when needed.What We’re Looking ForMust-have:5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, or in a combination of both roles within a software product environment.Strong experience in requirements elicitation and functional analysis.Ability to understand and document existing system behaviour, even when documentation is limited.Experience with backlog ownership, prioritisation, refinement, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Good technical understanding of APIs, data models, event-driven systems, and software architecture.Ability to work effectively with developers, architects, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence.Strong plus:Ability to work with data and perform basic database queries to investigate and answer business questions.Experience collaborating with UX designers, particularly on products used intensively by professional or expert users.Experience working with complex software platforms or data-driven products.Nice to have:Experience working in an ISO 27001 or other security-audited environment.Experience joining or helping establish a newly formed product team.What we offer: The working model will be with 3 days per week in the office, and 2 days from home.
