The Forecast Team in Bucharest, part of Mercedes-Benz Romania, supports Sales Operations at Mercedes-Benz Cars to ensure the optimal supply of the desired option codes for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars to markets worldwide. Throughout the entire product lifecycle, you will gain in depth insights into the vehicles of the future. You will work closely with Vehicle Product Management and Purchasing.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven and enthusiastic candidate to join the Order Management Department for Passenger Cars in Bucharest as BA Option Forecaster.

Main responsibilities and everyday challenges:

• Participates in the creation of forecasts for take rates of option codes in collaboration with the Ordering department, throughout the entire lifecycle, providing input to the purchasing department for commissioning external suppliers;

• Queries with Vehicle Product Management about the status of the offering logic;

• Validates the input data for the forecasts, validates the assessed requirement variants or code rules for technical correctness, if necessary in consultation with Supply Chain in the case of unclear code rules;

• Contributes with ideas and knowledge to structure and organize the processes, analyses and identifies situations with potential for improvements.

What we expect from you:

• University degree in Business Administration / Economics / Finance / Engineering or related

• Strong automotive knowledge

• IT knowledge, proficient in MS Office, very good Excel knowledge

• Highly proficient in written and spoken German and English

• Analytical skills, organized and structured working mode, with high attention to details and ability to prioritize effectively

• Proactive attitude, assertiveness and good problem-solving skills

• Strong team player, very good communication and interpersonal skills.
