To expand our team in Oradea (RO), we are looking for a
Business Developer assistant (m/f)
Core activities:

  • Identify, prospect, and win new customers at national and international level
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to strengthen our presence in the Romanian market
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to uncover new business opportunities
  • Represent the company at fairs, events, and business meetings
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with customers and carriers
  • Proactively manage accounts to increase customer retention and revenue growth
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key clients and propose improvement actions
  • Act as a trusted point of contact, handling delivery status requests, complaints, and disputes professionally
  • Prepare, present, and negotiate commercial offers, bids, and service proposals tailored to customer needs
  • Work closely with operations, pricing, procurement, and carrier partners to ensure feasible and competitive solutions
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations
  • Monitor sales activities, pipeline development, and conversion rates using CRM tools
  • Track quotations, tenders, and customer requests throughout the sales cycle
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management
  • Share customer insights and feedback to support continuous

Requirements:

  • You have a solid understanding of sales and business development fundamentals, including lead generation and follow‑up activities
  • You’re comfortable preparing offers, quotations, tenders, and commercial documentation, and supporting customer onboarding and contract administration
  • Experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics is a plus, but not a must—we value potential and willingness to learn
  • You communicate in a clear, structured, and professional manner with customers, partners, and internal teams
  • You handle customer inquiries and follow‑ups with confidence and attention to detail
  • You enjoy coordinating between sales, operations, and external partners to keep things moving smoothly
  • You are organized, methodical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • You can work independently, but also collaborate effectively with team leaders and management
  • You remain positive and adaptable when priorities change and don’t shy away from ambitious commercial targets
  • At least 1 year of experience in international transportation or forwarding is an advantage
  • For more experienced candidates: proven B2B sales exposure, client acquisition, and business development skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM tools; advanced knowledge is a plus
  • English at a professional level (spoken and written)
  • Additional foreign languages are considered an advantage
